Expand the Asset Tree to expose the desired Asset.

Select the Asset that is to have the ratio added.

Left-click on the Asset name to display the pop-up menu.

Select or hover the mouse over the Data option to expose the extended menu and select the Ratio ... option.

The Defined Ratios list box will display the ratios already created. Select the Add button to begin the ratio creation.

The first step is to select the Ratio Type that is wanted to be created. Expand the drop-down list to view options by clicking the triangle to the left of the Select Ratio Type text box.

Select Gas-Oil Ratio.

Since it is possible to have multiple instances for a phase, the participating phase instances need to be identified. Select the gas instance, gas1 which is the numerator in the ratio.

Select the oil instance, oil1, which will be the denominator of the ratio.

Select the Add button.

Notice the checkbox for Inheritable By Children? If it is desirable to have descendent Assets inherit the ratio definition, this box should be checked by selecting it (if unchecked) If not, this box should remain unchecked.

Select the Add button to complete the ratio.
Tip! Notice that the Add/Remove Ratio dialogue has other options. The Remove button will delete a selected ratio while the Remove Definition button will eliminate all displayed ratios. The Snapshot button will localize an inherited ratio.

The analog table of the Production Forecast form will have the ratio added.
Tip! The analog ratio can be input by the user like other declines. Graphics can be used to fit this ratio.

The digital stream table of the Production Forecast form will have a ratio stream.
Tip! The digital stream can be scheduled like any other stream, e.g. oil price. The Graphics' templates with the GOR defined will digitally schedule the ratio when oil and gas (in this case oil1 and gas1) are fitted with a curve.
