Cannibalisation happens when one or several location(s) attract(s) customers that would otherwise go to your location. You can visualise and quantify cannibalisation effects in TargomoLOOP...
      Open the Settings
      Click "Add Statistical Data"
Select the data you are interested in and click "Next"
At this step, make sure to check "Cannibalised results" when choosing the type of data you want. If you want to quantify the effect that cannibalisation has on a specific data, then we advise you to add both "Full potential results" and "Cannibalised results".
      Click "Add"
      Close the Settings
You can now see, for any given location, the difference between cannibalised and full potential data. In this 15 minutes bike catchment for instance, there are 22,951 individuals aged between 18 and 29 years old. However, because of the cannibalisation effect from other locations, only 18,175 will be attracted to my store.
You can even visualise where the cannibalisation is taking place by opening the Statistics and clicking on "Cannibalisation visualisation"
The closer to the other location, the less attractive my location becomes
Close to my location however, I attract 100% of the population, as they are not willing to travel too far to go to the other place.
Handy shortcut: you can also add cannibalised data from the left panel by clicking on "Add cannibalized version"

Want to make guides like this in seconds? Yes, it's really that fast.
