    How to apply coatings in the Shower Designer (Metric)

    Apply a coating to all panels

    Select an option from the **"Coating"** field. This will apply the selected coating to all panels in the shower.

    Click **"Cutouts"** to view / edit coating details

    Click **"Edit Coatings"**

    Check the **"Face"** field to see which face of the panel the coating has been applied to. Click into this field to apply the coating to a different panel face. *Note: Most shower-type coatings like Enduroshield, Clearshield, and/or Diamon Fusion default to applying to the back face of the glass.*

    Apply a partial coating to panels

    Select an option from the **"Coating"** field. This will apply the selected coating to all panels in the shower.

    Click on the **"Cutouts"** tab

    Scroll down in the list of cutouts until you see the first coating Click the **"edit"** icon to edit the coating for this panel.

    Enter values into any of the **''Margin"** fields. This will remove the coating from whichever edge you specify, by the value entered. For example, the door panel now has a margin of 100mm at the top and bottom of the panel where the coating is not applied. The shower diagram in the top right will update to reflect this change.

    By default, the **"Total Charged Area"** for this coating is the entire Glass Area of the panel. If you only want to charge for the specified area (i.e. Panel Area minus margins) enter the actual charged area here.

    Click on the **"Panel"** dropdown and select another panel to edit the coating for that panel. Repeat **Steps 8-10** until all panel coatings are correct.
