How to collect email addresses from map viewers

Click "Collect Emails" on the left hand side of the creator portal.

Customize the text for your pop up. You can edit the: -Pop Up Header. This is the large text that appears on your pop up. -Pop Up Description. This is the paragraph text on the pop up. -Call to Action button text. This is the text that appears on the 'submit' button.

Next you can edit the Pop Up Colors. You can align the following colors to your brand: 1) Pop Up Background Color 2) Pop Up Text Color 3) Button Color 4) Button Text Color You can also edit the privacy or opt in language to match the language you use for email capture elsewhere.

Control the behavior of the pop up. First, you can determine if the pop up should show when the map is embedded on a website OR if it should only be shown when it is in full screen. Checking the box will enable the pop up for embedded maps. An unchecked box means the pop up will only appear when the map is in full screen. Finally, decide how many seconds someone should be on the map prior to the pop up appearing.

Click "Save" BEFORE you preview your pop up.

Click "Preview Pop Up"

Click "Loading..."

Click "Download CSV" to retrieve the email addresses map viewers have provided. This will provide the email address and timestamp of map viewer sign up.

To turn off the pop up, adjust the toggle to "Email Collection Off" and click "Save".
