How to connect your BirdDog Play to play Cloud Connect Streams

NB! Before BirdDog Play can connect to BirdDog Cloud there must be a Cloud Connect Group created under your Company in your BirdDog Cloud account. NB! Make sure you have set up a stream to this group prior to trying to fetch it on your BirdDog Play. Also make sure to use H264 Nvenc or H264 VT (macOS endpoint) as the Play needs H264 codec to be used from the Cloud endpoint.

First we need to get the Cloud Connect Token for the Play. Click "Company"

Click "Cloud Connect Tokens"

Generate a new Cloud Connect Token if you do not have one already

Give it a name and choose a user to issue this token to.

Select the Cloud Connect Apps template

Click "Save"

To copy the token, hit the down arrow in the list of tokens. NB! Be sure you have used the correct Template "Cloud Connect Apps"

Copy the token.

Click "OK"

Navigate to your PlayUI

Click this dropdown and select Cloud Connect

Click the "Insert Token here" field, and plaste the token.

Click "APPLY TOKEN", you should see "Token activated" in the API token field
NB! Should you get and invalid token it is most likely that there are no Cloud Connect Groups created on your account so make sure you have done that first.

Click "SELECT GROUP" to get the Play to fetch all groups your Company have set up.

Select the group you want to get the Cloud Connect stream (s) from.

Click the "Insert Password" field and enter the password for the group.

Click "APPLY"
