How to create a Modified Hyperbolic fit onto Gas phase

Modified Hyperbolic (or Modified Harmonic) fit is used to do the forecasts of unconventional cases. Need to set up a reasonable Dmin value and b Factor firstly before creating the fit.

Click "Options" menu of R3 Graphics

Choose "Preferences"

Click "Gas"

Set Dmin value into a reasonable value

Example : set Dmin of 7 and click "Apply Dmin" button.

Click "Yes"

Set b Factor Min into a reasonable value

Type "1.2"

Set b Factor Max into a reasonable value

Type "1.6"

Click "Apply b Factor" button

Click "Yes"

Click "Save & Close"

Press [[ctrl]] + [[g]] to highlight GAS phase

Press [[ctrl]] + [[F4]] to create a Modified Hyperbolic fit

Press [[ctrl]] + [[s]] to save the modified hyperbolic fit onto Analog table

Click "Yes"
