How to create a new deal
Use deals in HubSpot to track potential revenue through your sales process. You need to associate deals with other records, such as contacts and companies involved in the deal. Once records are associated to a deal, HubSpot can associate the relevant activities to the deal record.

Create a new deal from the deal index page

Click "Deals"

Click "Create deal"

Add a Deal Name, Pipeline and a Deal Stage

Specify additional deal properties if you know the info for them

Tip! Fields with an asterisk (\*) are required to create a new deal

Give the deal an estimated close date. This will be used in forecast reports.

Associate it with a **Contact** and a **Company**

When done, click "Create"

Tip! Create a new deal from a contact or company record to automatically have contacts and companies associated to the new deal!

Go to the **Search Bar** and search for your **Contact/Company**

Click "SOP Experts"

Go to your right-side bar and find "Deals" and click "Add+"

When you've filled out all the info, click "Create" to create the deal

It'll be associated with the Contact/Company you are creating the deal from. Add the missing value if needed.

Click "Create" when done.
Add notes or task

On your deal page, you can add Notes or Tasks to collaborate with another team member
