Select the Capital Investments form to shown the new investment after creation.

With the Asset Tree expanded to display the Asset desired to have the new investment, select the Asset with a right-click to display the pop-up menu.
Tip! The new investment will inherit to the Asset's descendants. Select the Study Asset will add the investment to all Assets.

Select the Data option or hover the mouse cursor over the Data option to display the extended menu.

Select the Investment ... option.

This example will not be adding a predefined investment group shown in the list therefore uncheck the "Select predefined investment" checkbox by selecting the checkbox.

Use the text box to input a title for the new investment group.

Type "Additional Tangible" in the text box and press the enter key or any other name for the group.

At this point an instance name is needed to be input for the capital stream. Use the text box to input a name.
Now the procedure is adding the investment into the group.

Type "Tang_2" and press the enter key.
Tip! The text includes an underline. This is a procedure to get a blank space to appear in the title of the the digital stream for the investment.

The type of investment is chosen with dropdown list under "Select Marker(s)".

Select tangible from the options of intangible, leasehold and tangible.

Multiple additional markers can be selected using standard selection techniques. This can be used by models to group investments.

The default Tax write-off is ACRS7yr. Use to dropdown list to select another type of write-off.

The Tang_2 investment has ben added to the group. A user can add more investments to the group however this example is only going to include this one investment in the group. Select the Done button.
