Our seating designer has a tutorial that provides information about using the tool. It will appear automatically on your first visit to the seating chart designer. You can also access the tutorial by clicking the question mark in the upper right-hand corner of the seating designer.
    9
Once you draw your first row of seats, you can click any space on the seating chart to draw additional rows.
    10
Continue drawing rows until you complete your seating chart.
    11
Click on the category edit icon to add categories to the seating chart.
    information ordinal icon
Categories are required to group seats. Grouping seats via categories enables you to assign ticket types and prices accordingly when creating tickets via the create/edit ticket types page (as seen in a later step).
    12
Click on "Create new category" and enter the category name in the text field.

The category name should help you and ticket buyers know the types of seats they are—for example, main floor, balcony, mezzanine, reserved seating, VIP, etc. The reserved seating category will appear on the event page to make it easier for ticket buyers to select seats. You can create as many categories as you'd like. Note: The reserved seating category and the ticket type name (from the create/edit ticket types page) do not have to be unique. You can use the same name if needed. For example, the category could be called main floor, and the ticket type name associated with this category could also be called main floor.
    13
Once categories are created, highlight/select seats on the seating chart to assign categories to.
    information ordinal icon
Only one category can be assigned to each seat. If you forgot a category or want to add a new one, you can do so at any time by repeating the add categories process as seen above.
    14
Once seats are selected, click on "Manage" to assign a category.
