Login to your AWS account and navigate to Cognito. Choose 'User Pools' on left hand pane, and then 'Create Pool' on the opened up page. The step by step guide will appear. We will focus only on the attributes that need to be changed from default settings. Let's start from the step 1 - selecting type of the user pool.
Tick Email checkbox for sign in option for Cruddur project purpose. Note: you can also add user name for other projects just make sure your application is handling both of these options
    Click "Next"
Click "Users can only sign in with a single authentication factor. This is the least secure option."
    Click "Next"
Ensure email verification only as SMS is not covered by free tier
Scroll down to "Required Attributes "Click "Select attributes"
    Tick 'name' checkbox
    Also check "preferred_username"
    Click "Next"
Click "Send email with Cognito Use Cognito's default email address as a temporary start for development. You can use it to send up to 50 emails a day."
The user confirmation email will probably come from "[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])"
    Click "Next"
Click the "User pool name" field.
    enter your user pool name
Click the "App client name" field.
