    How to view job and glass templates

    Click on the menu icon in the top left-hand corner. Select **"Templates''**

    Change the filter at the top to view "**Glass"**, or "**Job"** template items in the table below.

    *What is the difference between Template Glass and Template Jobs?* - **"Template Glass"** can be used to save one piece of glass as a template that can be added to jobs. - **"Template Jobs"** are used to save multiple pieces of glass, or a combination of glass, hardware and other charges. When creating Template Jobs, you can also pre-configure a description, and quote notes for the job.

    How to create a new glass template

    From the templates screen, click **"New"** then select **''Glass''.**

    Enter a name for the Glass Template, then click **''Design''**. *Note: The template name is for internal use only.*

    From here you can design the glass as you normally would by entering measurements, selecting glass makeup details, applying edgework and adding cutouts or other processes. - When you're done, click **''Save''** to save the glass template. - Click **''Templates''** to return to the Template screen.

    How to create a new job template

    To create a new job template, click **"New"** then select **''Job''.**

    Enter a name for the Job Template, then click **"Design''** *Note: This name is for internal use only.*

    Click **"+ Glass"** to add a new piece of glass. *Hint: You could also click **'**'+ Template Glass'' to add a glass template to this job template.*

    From here you can edit the *default* glass details, shape, edgeworks, cutouts or other processes. *Note: Once this template has been added to a project, you can make changes to any of these glass details.*

    Click **"+ Hardware"** to add hardware, materials or other sundry products that you want to charge for.

    Click the **"Product Name"** field. - Search by product name then click on the product to select it. - Or, if you can't find the product you need, type the required product name into this field to add a one-off product. *Hint: When using this field to search for products, you can filter your search results by selecting a product category from the **''Category''** field.*

    Check the **"Unit Price"** field and edit if needed, then click **"Save".**

    Continue adding to this job as required by using any of the following buttons: - Click **"+ Glass"** to add new glass - Click **"+ Template Glass"** to add new template glass items - Click **"+ Hardware"** to add new hardware, materials or other products you need to charge for
