How to do Strikethrough on Google Docs

    • Google DocsGoogle Docs
Open your document in Google Docs to get started.
Click and highlight the portion of text that you want to strike out.
Once your text is selected, click "Format" from the options along the top of your window.
Select Text from the drop-down menu. Here you'll find all of the most common text effects.
    Finally, click "Strikethrough"
You can now see that the text is crossed out.
Alternatively, for a faster way to apply this effect, you can use a keyboard shortcut.
With your text highlight, Press [[cmd]] + [[shift]] + [[x ]]
This will also apply the Strikethrough effect, and it is much quicker than navigating through the menus.
