    How to do a regular conversion with Jet Convert

    Step 1 - Pre-conversion preparation

    Go to the Jet Convert website <https://jetconvert.com/>

    Click the dropdown arrow on the menu item 'Convert From' and select your source accounting software type.

    Make sure that you complete the "ESSENTIAL Data Preparation" steps. \ (The example shown is for MYOB.)

    The "OPTIONAL Data Preparation" lists additional tidy up items that you can do in your source accounting software ahead of time, or in Xero following conversion - if they need to be done at all.\ (The example shown is for MYOB.)

    Step 2 - Grant us access to your online company (if converting from an online software)

    Instructions for providing us with access to your online accounting software can be found on the Jet Convert website under the ["Need Help?"](https://support.jetconvert.com/portal/en/kb/support?_ga=2.29917695.1769224475.1718148962-1726277127.1711003233) menu item.

    Enter the word "online" in the "Search articles" field.

    Click on the article titled \ "[How to Grant us Access to Your Online Accounting software](https://support.jetconvert.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-grant-us-access-to-your-file)".

    For Australia there are instructions for giving us access to "MYOB Business/Account Right Live".

    Directly underneath there are instructions fo giving us access to an Australian QBO entity.

    Under the United States heading there are instructions for giving us access to a USA QBO entity.

    Step 3 - Select your conversion service

    To start the conversion click on any green "Start Your Xero Conversion" button on the [Jet Convert website](https://jetconvert.com/) at any time 24/7.

    Select your source accounting software type.\ \ The options for the USA will include QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks Online. (Not shown here.) (In this example I am uploading a desktop file.)

    Click "Load".

    Fill out your contact details (not your client's).\ \ The Xero subscription email address is where we will transfer the newly created Xero organisation and who will pay Xero for the monthly subscription.

    Click "Proceed"

    You will be redirected to your conversion status page. This page has a unique URL and is where you will take action on your conversion.\ \ You can navigate away from the status page if you want.
