🔐 Create Access Keys for imgix

Start by navigating to the DigitalOcean API Page > Spaces Keys, [https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/api/spaces](https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/api/spaces)
Select the "Generate New Key" button.
You’re going to want to give your keys a descriptive name, appropriate for your use case. We’ll be calling our’s "imgix-example".
Once you've inputted a name that you're satisfied with, select the blue checkmark to generate your keys.
Take this moment to store your keys in a secure location.
This is the only opportunity you will have to save your Secret Access Key. You can always revisit DigitalOcean to retrieve your Access Key again; however, your Secret Access Key can never be re-obtained. Before proceeding onto the next steps, take this moment to store your keys in a secure location for future use.
Once you have securely stored your credentials, input your Access and Secret Access Keys into the corresponding imgix Source Creation fields.

🪣 Link your Space

Navigate to the Spaces Page, [https://cloud.digitalocean.com/spaces](https://cloud.digitalocean.com/spaces).
Locate the Space you want to link to imgix, and input its name into the corresponding imgix Source Creation field.

🗺 Link your Endpoint URL and Region

Copy the Endpoint URL from the Space URL, located under the Space's name. The Endpoint URL adheres to the following structure: [region].digitaloceanspaces.com.
Input your Endpoint URL into the corresponding imgix Source Creation field.
Copy the Region, e.g. sfo3, from the Space URL, located under the Space name.
Input your Region into the corresponding imgix Source Creation field.

🎉 Finished!

Congratulations! You should now have all the credentials needed to connect imgix to your DigitalOcean media assets. In the next step of our Source creation process, you’ll create a subdomain for your imgix Source.
