🔐 Create Access Keys for imgix

1
Navigate to [https://console.wasabisys.com/access_keys](https://console.wasabisys.com/access_keys).
2
Select the "Create New Access Key" button.
3
Choose the user type you want to create access credentials for. You can learn more about users and their permissions by visiting Wasabi's Documentation: [https://knowledgebase.wasabi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043219332-How-do-I-create-a-sub-user-with-Console-access-and-Access-and-Secret-Keys-](https://knowledgebase.wasabi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043219332-How-do-I-create-a-sub-user-with-Console-access-and-Access-and-Secret-Keys-). Keep in mind that imgix only requires Read and List permissions to serve your assets.
4
Select "Download CSV" to save a copy of your Access Key and Secret Access Key.

This is the only opportunity you will have to save your Secret Access Key. You can always revisit Wasabi to retrieve your Access Key again; however, your Secret Access Key can never be re-obtained. Before proceeding onto the next steps, take this moment to store your keys in a secure location for future use.
5
Once you have securely stored your credentials, input your Access and Secret Access Keys into the corresponding imgix Source Creation fields.

🪣 Link your Bucket

6
Navigate to the [https://console.wasabisys.com/file_manager/](https://console.wasabisys.com/file_manager/).
7
Locate the bucket you want to link to imgix, and input its name into the corresponding imgix Source Creation field.

🗺 Link your Endpoint URL and Region

8
Copy the bucket's region and paste it into the imgix Endpoint URL field. Append s3. before the region and .wasabisys.com to the end to construct the Wasabi Endpoint URL. eg: s3.[region].wasabisys.com
9
Copy the bucket's region again. This time, paste it into the corresponding imgix Region field.

🎉 Finished!

10
Congratulations! You should now have all the credentials needed to connect imgix to your Wasabi media assets. In the next step of our Source creation process, you’ll create a subdomain for your imgix Source.
