Click on "Add channels" at the bottom of your channel list in your left sidebar menu

Type the name of your new Slack channel. \
Leaving a space between words will automatically create a hyphen in the name.

Select the channel visibility (Public or Private)

Select whether to add All members of the workspace or only Specific people to the new channel

If inviting specific people, type their name or email

Your new Slack channel is ready to be used
