How to offer meeting times directly from Gmail

Start composing, and when you are ready to add proposed times, click on the little calendar icon at the bottom.

Select "Offer times you're free"

Select the amount of time for the meeting.

Select from the defaults or create a custom meeting length.

Select blocks of free time from your calendar

Drag to fill a block of free time. You can also create several blocks on the same day.

Or click "Add a date" to add times on another day.

Click the next date you want to add times for

Click "Next"

Add a personalized title for the event if you like

Then click "Add to email"

Now your proposed times are in the email, and the other person can just select one to create the calendar event for both of you.
