How to optimize an RSS feed so that it shows in Sendible

Once you have the URL for the RSS feed that you want to add to Sendible, head over to [https://feedburner.google.com/](https://feedburner.google.com/).
Its important to also confirm that your RSS feed is actually a valid feed, to do this head to [validator.w3.org/feed](http://validator.w3.org/feed) to check if it is valid

Once you are on the site, click the "Create proxy" button in the bottom right-hand corner to start the process.

Then paste the RSS feed URL into the box and click "Next"

On the next page simply click "Create" to finish optimizing the URL

Once it is completed you will be brought back to the orginal screen and should see the feed you just optimized, click "Configure Proxy" to open the feed and reveal the next step.

On the next screen you will see the optimized feed in the Custom URL box, click the copy icon to put the link into your clipboard. This concludes the use of Feedburner.

Next head to [https://feedly.com/](https://feedly.com/) to start the next step.
Please note that while [Feedly.com](http://Feedly.com) and [Feedburner.com](http://Feedburner.com) are free services they will require that you sign up with an email.

Once you have an account and are on the home page, look for the set of icons in the bottom corner and choose the one that looks similar to the WIFI symbol (Follow Websites, Twitter, Reddit, and Newsletters).

Then you will paste the optimized link that you obtained from Feedburner and paste it into the Search by topic, website, or RSS link box

Once you paste the link you should see the RSS feed you are looking for show up, click on it to move to the next step.

Once you have clicked on the feed you should see this screen with an option to click "Follow".

You will then be asked to save it to a folder of your choice (this wont effect anything other than where it lives on Feedly.)

Next head to [https://app.sendible.com/#login](https://app.sendible.com/#login) to log into your account and add the feed to your account.

Once in your account choose the Content section in your Dashboard and then select "RSS feeds". On the following screen, hover your mouse over the "New Feed" icon and select "Publications and Blogs" Once this has been done paste the Optimized URL into the search box.

After you have pasted the URL into the search box you should now see the RSS feed that you are trying to add.

Finally, click the "Add Feed" button to add this RSS feed to your account.
