Service requests will be placed on hold during the review process after the technician has marked it as complete. Let's walk through how to recognize that need, and the steps to take to place a request on hold.

While completing the review step you may see some of the clues that indicate this request needs to be put on hold. No completion notes may be an indication that the request needs to be put on hold.

There should be photos from the technician that explain why a request should be placed on hold. 

There should also be notes that explain why a request should be placed on hold too.

If you are in the quick review window, then simply click on the view service request button to be taken to the service request. If you are already in the service request then you are ready to proceed.

Now that you know the request needs to be put on hold, simply click on the hold button in the top right menu bar.

Select the appropriate button for why the request is being put on hold and click next.

Now you can add a dropoff hold date or change the Service Professional if you need to. This step is optional and you can skip it.

Lastly, select the pre-made resident message...

Type "Part has been ordered. I will finish the repair when it arrives."

Or click on the custom response and let the resident know what you are waiting on.
