Head to the role configuration and the role read and Modify access to the reporting module
Set this to 'No'
Set this to 'No'
Now navigate to reporting module and make a new report
Name the data source
Use the Query builder to make a data source for assets
Ensure "Apply Agent's permissions to Ticket, Action, and Asset query builder queries" is enabled
Click "Fields & Conditions"
Click "Add"
Add the fields you would like the agent to have access to
Save
Save the data source
Now impersonate the agent you set the restrictions against
Head to Reporting module
Click "New"
Click "Data Source"
See data source options
Click "Assets"
Click "Fields"
