How to see what Security Groups a User is in

Navigate to Console and search for the User you're looking for.

Select the User.

Click the arrow to open the User details page.

In the Security Group column, the shield icons represent the permissions a User has been given by the Security Group.

If you hover over the shield icon, it will show the Security Group that has enabled the role.

At the top of the screen, you should also be able to see the Security Groups tab. Click to open the Security Groups for the User.

The user's list of Security Groups will show here.

Click on the three dots to show more options.

Click Open to navigate to the Security Group page. That's it for now - that's how you can check what Security Groups a user is in.
