How to send a mass email

Navigate to [https://lposd.powerschool.com/teachers/home.html](https://lposd.powerschool.com/teachers/home.html)

Alert! You will likely only need to do steps 3 through 7 once. If somehow you get signed out of the feature you will need to repeat these steps.
Tip! Don't see the 'Authorize' button? Skip to step 8!

Click "Authorize"

Click on your LPOSD account

Make sure all checkboxes are selected. This screen may look different than yours, that's okay!

Click "Continue"

Click this checkbox for every student you want to select.

Click "Next"

Edit the "Email As (Name)" field, not a fan of my middle name being sent out.

Click the Send to Student(s) checkbox to select students.

Click the Send to Contact(s) checkbox to select contacts that have mailing permissions.
Alert! While Send to Guardian(s) seems like a necessary checkbox, this field is limited to just one email per family and isn't necessarily updated when contacts are made. Use Send to Contact(s) instead. If someone responds that they should not have gotten the email, let your front office staff know.

Click the "Subject" field.

Type in your subject. Repeat for message.
Tip! Need to include links, documents and other items? The email BCC field (between Send to Contacts and Subject) has all of the emails listed. Just copy and paste into your LPOSD email. MAKE SURE TO PUT IT IN YOUR EMAILS BCC!!!

Click "Send" and it will send the email for you!
