    How to set up a template

    Navigate to [https://app.smartconvo.com/profile_setup](https://app.smartconvo.com/profile_setup)

    Click "Browse templates" in your onboarding OR click on the "Create" tab from the lefthand menu

    In the main screen, click on the page you want to add the template to.

    In the Create screen, select the template you want to use. We'll select the After Hours template

    Click the "Type a keyword and enter" field. You can add a new keyword for your starting message, or use the default keywords from the template.

    Tip! The "starting message" is your keyword that your audience will need to send your social profiles (ie. Messenger) to trigger your automated message flow

    Click this field.

    Edit your hours to reflect your business

    Edit all portions of the template to be specific to your business

    Click this field under Step 3 - End your message

    We're going to type in "I'll reach out to you once I am back at my desk!" - for our use case

    Success! Now we've edited and customized our chat template!

    Click "Convos" in the app

    Choose the template you just created, and select the dots under "Actions"

    Click "Edit"

    This is the Advanced Edit view. Here, you can review your message step-by-step and ensure that your chatbot is to your liking.

    Click on a message block to see the editor in the right hand slide out panel. Here you can edit text, media, buttons, delays, and imaages.

    Click the "Text Message" field.
