    How to share your Scribe Doc with others

      What did you create that Scribe for? To share it. Scribe is always better when shared. We make it super easy and give you a few different options to do so. NOTE: all Scribes default to "Not shared" i.e. viewable only by you, so you decide when it's ready to be shared. (If you're on Scribe Enterprise, your organization may have a different default setting.)

      Sharing from the Scribe tile

      Find the Scribe tile of the Scribe you want to share. Hover over the tile and click the link icon on the upper right. Your Scribe link is now copied and ready to share! Note that the link will respect the share settings on the Scribe so ensure the recipient has the appropriate Scribe access or that the settings are "Shareable with Link".

      You can also open up the sharing modal directly from the tile view. Click open the three-dot menu and select "share"

      To share with individuals directly (this can be anyone - they don't have to be on your team or even have a Scribe account), type their email address directly in the email bar. Once added, the recipient will receive an email notification from Scribe. Also, you can choose to give them "view" or "edit" access.

      Sharing from the Editor

      Tip! If you want to share the link to your Scribe quickly, you can go ahead and click "Copy Link" and two things will happen: your Scribe link will be copied, and your Scribe's sharing permission will be automatically changed to "Shareable with Link" if it as previously "Private" or "Restricted".

      Another way to share is from the editor, by clicking "Share".

      Another way to set Scribes as "Shareable with Link", so anyone with the link can view it is by clicking the "Copy Link" button located in the pop-up menu.
