Navigate to Invoices Dashboard\
Click "+Create"

Click "Vendor Name" to search and select a payee

Click "Vendor Address" to search and select an address

Note: always use the AP_50/ACH address, if available, unless a paper check is necessary.

Click "Vendor Invoice Number" to enter the vendor's invoice number. 

Note: leave field blank if you do not have an invoice number

Click "Invoice Date" to select the date found on the vendor invoice. 

Note: select today's date if you do not have a date on the vendor invoice

Click "Due Date" to select a payment due date

Click "Invoice Amount" to enter the payment amount

Optional: click "Requester" to identify an Emburse user you are submitting the request on behalf of. AP will contact both the creator and requestor of the invoice with questions.

Click "Nature of Expense" to provide a business purpose for the payment

Select Yes or No from the "Recurring Payable?" drop down

Note: If you select "Yes", additional recurring payable fields will display

Optional: click "PO or Encumbrance #" field to associate a PO or encumbrance with the payment

Select Yes or No from the "Is Credit Memo?" drop down

Click here to display special handling options.

Note: use special handling instructions to indicate a new addresses

Click "Browse File" to upload backup documentation

Click "Skip" or "Extract Data" when uploading an attachment. 

Note:  "Extract Data" option will overwrite any previously entered data.
