    How to use the "Clear from Inbox" tool in the Communications tab

    Using the "Clear from inbox" action does not delete or archive your emails. The emails must also be linked to an event or lead for the "Clear from Inbox" action to work. Clearing the emails from your main communications tab is only moving them to the communications dashboard within the event it is linked too. You can find these emails in the event/lead communications dashboard, or in the quick view filter in the main communications tab after you have cleared them.

    First, you'll click into your main communications tab.

    In order to use the "Clear from inbox" action, you'll want to make sure the emails you want to clear out are linked to the appropriate event/lead.

    If you need to change the event/lead the email is linked to, you can do this within the action button.

    When you are ready to clear it out of your inbox, click on "Action" then "Clear from Inbox".

    You'll get an extra notification to remind you and your team that the email will not be deleted, just moved! Click "Save" to continue.

    You can also quickly move multiple emails out of your main inbox by selecting the boxes and clicking "Clear from Inbox" in the Action panel on the left.

    You can find the emails in their new location- the communication tool within the event dashboard.

    You can also go back into your main Communication tab and search for emails by event. This will pull up all emails with that event/lead tag and make it easy to view every email for that certain event.
