Click "Bulk Operations", to add/remove associations in bulk and automatically

Pick association type and label, for example, "Contact to Company (Primary)"

Or a different association label for a second company "Contact to Company (2nd association)"

Associate to a custom object "Contact to Cars (car_to_contact)"

Click "Magical Import", to bulk add/remove associations when you import from CSV

In a similar way, you can pick the association type and label when you import, for example, "Contact to Company (2nd association)"
