**What is VPN?**\ \ A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a service that encrypts your internet connection and routes it through a remote server, providing privacy, security, and the ability to access restricted content by masking your IP address.
    3
**VPN** wizard will open, click on the **VPN** option from the left bar
    4
**VPN** wizard will open, click on the **CREATE VPN CONNECTION** button
    5
**Create a VPN** wizard will open, select the option **High-availability (HA) VPN** **Note:** You can select the option as per your requirement.

**What is High-availability (HA) VPN option?**\ \ A **High-Availability (HA) VPN** is a VPN setup designed to ensure continuous service and minimal downtime by using multiple VPN gateways. If one gateway fails, the others automatically take over, providing redundancy and improved reliability for secure, uninterrupted network connections.
    6
Select the option **Classic VPN** **Note:** You can select the option as per your requirement.

**What is Classic VPN?**\ \ In Google Cloud Platform (GCP), **Classic VPN** is the older VPN solution that provides secure connectivity between your on-premises network and your Google Cloud Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network. It uses IPsec tunnels to establish encrypted connections. However, unlike HA VPN, Classic VPN does not offer built-in high availability or automatic failover across multiple gateways. Instead, it relies on manual setup for redundancy, making it less resilient compared to the newer HA VPN option.
