Navigate to [Maileroo](https://maileroo.com/?r=HUNDREDAYS) and click "**Sign Up**".\ \ Follow the instructions to sign-up for a free account. During this process, select "**Email Marketing**" when prompted by the question "**What would you like to do today?**"
Click "**Domains**" from the left-hand menu.
Click "**Add New Domain**"
In this example, we'd click the "**Link Your Own Domain**" option if we were planning on sending transactional emails from our own domain.
Enter a subdomain that specifies that this is your email server. \ \ See the red text in the screenshot below for additional context.
Click "**Add Domain**"
You'll now be provided with a series of DNS (Domain Name System) records that you'll need to add within the configuration of your domain within your DNS provider (for example GoDaddy, Namecheap, Domain.com).\ \ It is compulsory to add each of these records for Maileroo to work. Read more about this [here](https://maileroo.com/help/what-dns-records-are-compulsory-to-create-so-that-i-can-use-maileroo/?r=HUNDREDAYS).\ \ The way in which you add these records will vary depending on your domain name provider.
Next you'll need to configure your preferred method of sending emails. \ \ If you're more technically comfortable, you can configure sending via Maileroo's API, but configuring SMTP is a great no-code alternative implementation.\ \ Click "**Create an SMTP account**"
Click "**New Account**"
Enter your preferred email alias and click "**Create Account**"
You'll now be presented with your SMTP configuration information that you can configure within your preferred email provider!
