How to set up your Microsoft 365 account
Signing In

Navigate to <https://office.com>
- This link is always available on the CBC website in the Portal

Sign in using your CBC email address and default password
- If you have previously created a password when signing into Windows on a CBC computer, use it instead.

Security Setup

After sign in, a prompt will appear requiring more information to set up your account

Follow the on-screen instructions for setting up account security
- A working phone number that can receive text messages or phone calls is required
- An alternate (not @cbc.edu) email address is required

Once security codes have been received and verified, review the Success page and click "Done"
Updating your Password

Enter the default password in "Current Password"

Enter and confirm a secure but memorable password you will use for your account and click "Sign in"
