Twingate ZTNA (Zero-Trust Network Access) replaces the FortiClient with a much easier, faster, and a more secure method of connecting to the network. To start, navigate to <https://www.twingate.com/download>
    2
    Click "Download for Windows"
    3
Open downloads and double-click and install the "TwingateWindowsInstaller"
    4
    Click "Yes"
    5
    Click "Install"
    6
After a couple minutes, the installation will be complete, click "Finish"
    7
Click "Yes" to allow the installer to reboot your computer. **This must be done before using Twingate.**
    8
Double-click on the Twingate icon that is on your desktop.
    9
    Click "Continue" to get started.
    10
Type in you assigned network name that you will connect to, then click "Join Network"
    11
The web browser will open and you will click on "Sign in with Microsoft"
    12
Click on your Microsoft 365 account, or type in your Microsoft 365 email address and log in.
    13
Once logged in, you will see the authenticated notice. You can close the browser or tab at this time. You are now able to access company resources. Unlike the old FortiClient where you would need to sign in and out, the Twingate ZTNA client will keep you connected, even when you power off your computer. Periodically, it will ask you to sign in again and work the same as in the above steps. This works well if you are on a spotty Internet connection, as it will automatically reconnect when the connection is restored
