    1
Navigate to [https://app.amplified.ai/](https://app.amplified.ai/) and create a new Custom Project
    2
    Click "Query"
    3
    Click the "Enter expression" field.
    4
Enter a query then click the arrow icon to search. Click below to view documentation on query syntax and supported fields: [https://www.notion.so/amplified/b441b0f485674e53a13d084775f86aed?v=888a53043de84113ab86a27469eea11a](https://www.notion.so/amplified/b441b0f485674e53a13d084775f86aed?v=888a53043de84113ab86a27469eea11a)
    5
Results will load on the right. Your query history is labelled and saved along with the hit count.
    6
You can combine previous queries such as S1 and S2.
    7
You can save Query results to keep track of your work just like in Explore.
    8
You can also add a complex query to the Explore panel as a Custom Filter. Click the ... icon to open options and then click "Add to custom filters"
    9
Click "Explore" to go back to the Explore panel.
    10
If you scroll down you'll see that now there is a Custom Filter with your query and it's set to ON.
    11
We can't see results yet because there's no input for the AI. Type "gesture recognition for automatic tax hailing" in the invention description box and then click Update Results
    12
Since the Custom Filter is on results are limited to those 1,665 hits but sorted using the AI. The result we saved earlier while in Query mode is synced we can immediately see it is ranked 4 in this list.
    13
You can turn the Custom Filters OFF by clicking on the toggle
    14
Then when you click "Update results" you'll see the unfiltered list again. If you've been marking results as relevant, flagged, or hidden as you work then you'll instantly know if there's anything new here that wasn't captured by the Custom Filter query.
