Welcome to the **Managed Developer Cloud (MDC)** Hands-on Lab. This hands-on demonstration provides a comprehensive understanding of MDC's key features. While we suggest following the lessons in order, you are free to navigate to any specific lessons independently.

Throughout this lab, you'll explore various functionalities provided by MDC, its capabilities, and practical use case. You'll learn how Developers, FinOps, Administrators can leverage MDC to help consume private cloud infrastructure without the need of traditional ticket based approach to request for cloud resources.

**Objective**: The objective of this lab is to familiarize you with the capabilities of MDC, allowing you to:
- Explore the key essential features of MDC.
- Learn how Developers can self-serve Virtual machines, Container Clusters, configure Firewall, Security Groups, and Load Balancers.
- Provide FinOps teams the ability to assign Budget thresholds and view the Show back reports to improve visibility into financial aspects of the cloud usage.
- Allow administrators to configure the MDC platform by allowing them to create and manage users, user groups, roles, projects etc. This also allows them to assign granular permissions to users and assign them to various projects based on their roles and responsibilities. This initial configuration helps empower Developers to be self-sufficient to deploy and manage various cloud resources.
**Hands-on Experience:** During this lab, you will gain practical experience and will be able to do the following:
- Navigate the MDC portal and various dashboards.
- Utilize launch virtual machine wizard, container cluster wizard to launch virtual machine and container cluster.
**Lesson Completion:** The completion time for each lesson may vary depending on your chosen tasks and exploration.
