    Search for **AWS Management Console Login** in any browser Click on the first link with the domain address as - [[aws.amazon.com/console]]

    On the landing page click on "**Sign in to the console**" on the top of the page

    On the sign-in page select the Root user radio button and enter the root user email address. Click **Next** button

    Enter the root user password and click on **Sign in** button

    Once you're signed in to the console, click on the **Root user** profile dropdown from the top right corner of the page

    Click on **Account** option to view the Root user account settings

    On the account page, scroll to the **IAM user and role access to the billing information** section The IAM user/role access to the billing dashboard will be Deactivated

    To Activate the IAM user access click on the **Edit** button

    Select the **Activate IAM Access** and click on update button

    On the right side Click on **Update** button

    The IAM user/role access to the billing dashboard will be Activated and this setting will now allow the IAM users to view the Billing Dashboard

    **What is the necessity of granting IAM users access to the Billing Dashboard?** Granting IAM users access to the Billing Dashboard is necessary to provide them with visibility into the usage and costs associated with the AWS account. This allows them to monitor spending, track resource usage, and understand the financial implications of their actions within the AWS environment. Additionally, it promotes transparency and accountability, enabling IAM users to make informed decisions and adhere to budget constraints.

    Type **IAM** in the search bar and click on **IAM** to view the IAM Dashboard

    On the **IAM** dashboard, Copy the **IAM** Sign-in URL from **AWS Account** widget

    Log out from the Root Account and close the browser. open the browser again and paste the IAM Sign-in URL in the browser's address bar

    - The root account ID will be pre-populated in the Account ID field - Enter "**in27minutes_dev**" as the IAM user name - Enter the IAM user password - Click on **Sign in** button

    You will be successfully logged in to the AWS console as an **IAM** user. Click on the IAM profile dropdown in the top right corner of the page

    Click on **Billing and Cost Management** option

    On the Billing and Cost Management dashboard click on **Bills** from the left bar under the Billings and Payments section
