      Job Types per Role allows you to manage the exclusive and available jobs for each user role (these roles are normally assigned to requesters). If you do not make any changes to the settings, all job types will be available to all roles by default

      Navigate to Synbiotix

      Enter your username and password and click "Login"

      Select Helpdesk

      Click "Administration"

      Click "Job Types per Role"

      Select the required hospital from the drop-down box

      Click "Job Types" for the required user role

      Exclusive job types are displayed on the left and available job types on the right. Exclusive jobs can only be raised by the users with the selected role. Available jobs can be raised by any user with access. If the available field is left blank, the role will have access to all jobs (other than those exclusive to a different role)

      Assign Exclusive Job Types

      Click "Exclusive Job Types"

      Select the required job category (service)

      Click the tickbox to assign the job type to the role

      Remove the tick from the tickbox to remove the job type from the role

      Click "Assign All" to assign all job types to the role

      Alternatively, click "Entire Category" to assign all job types in the category to the role

      Click "X" to save the entire category

      Assign Available Job Types

      Select the required job category (service)
