Lab Results, Editing existing result

    Open the patient Demographics and Click on the Patient Results Icon.

    When the Patient Results open, click on the Magnifying Glass on the Filter name.

    Choose the Filter template, either LFM lab by Template or LFM Lab Review by DAY

    This shows by date. Choose the date at the left that the result is in that needs to be edited.

    Once the date opens up, choose the Lab that you need to edit from the list.

    The lab should show to the right that needs to be edited. Click on the Edit button to make changes to this result.

    This will open up the Associated lab template. Click on the Blue hyperlink, Switch to Advanced Results Dialog. (NOTE: this result is in "**Approved**" Order Status. Once a Result is Approved, it can **NOT be edited**) The following slides is example of edit if it was not in Approved status. Any result in any status besides "Approved" can be edited.

    The Result Dialog window will open. You would go to the Value field where "No Result" is shown and change the result value. (NOTE: due to this being Approved status, an Edit of this is not possible, all fields are locked once Approved)

    Once all values have been corrected, click on OK to save the change. The new value will now show in the Patient Results.
