Getting Started

On your Navigational panel, click on 'Account Setup' and then select 'Account'

Selecting Languages

In the Options Tab, click on 'Languages' in the quick navigation menu on the left. Select the languages you would like to work with by clicking on the checkboxes. To implement the changes to the language selection, click on 'Save' in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
**Note:** Machine Translations do not apply to Beta Languages. These would require you to manually add the translations should you want to use them.

Manual Translations

When Machine Translations has been not been activated, Wetu will not automatically translate any of your Supplier, Destination or Country content, however, each language tab will be left blank so that you can manually populate it with your own translated descriptions. You will only be able to add translations for the languages you have selected in the Options tab.

Using Machine Translations

In the Suppliers Tab, when you click on Description there will be an indicator in the top right-hand corner to let you know if the English Description was loaded by Wetu or if it has been customised by you.
When you navigate to a specific language tab, the relevant translation will show. The 3rd party translation system uses the English description as the basis for the translation. Machine Translations will behave as described in the following scenarios, using French translation as an example: **The Supplier has only entered English Description and you have not customised it:**\ \ The English description of the Supplier will be Machine Translated into French.
**Note:** Machine Translations will not overwrite any translations you or a Supplier have already entered into the system.
**The Supplier has entered a French translation of their English Description and you have not customised it:**\ \ The French description will remain the translation loaded by the Supplier because Machine Translations will not override existing translations.
**The Supplier has only entered English Description and you have customised it:**\ \ The French will then be a Machine Translation of your English Description
In addition to just the main Description translating for a Supplier, all the supporting Descriptions (Room Types, Unit Types, Product Activities, Restaurants, etc) will also translate.
**Note:** If Machine Translations are not displaying in your account, please contact our support team to enable them for you

Itinerary Builder Translations

In the Itinerary Builder, you are able to select the language of the itinerary in the Itinerary Details Step. If the language you want is missing, set it up from the Account Setup as described above.
**Note:** Content that is entered by you in the Itinerary Builder, such as Day Notes and Price, will not be translated. This content will need to be translated manually by you before sending it to your client.
