Nutshell's lead attribution reveals which marketing sources and channels your leads are coming from so you can optimize your strategy. Let's see how to set up and use lead attribution.

Under "Marketing," click on "Website" and then "Analytics."

On the Analytics page, verify that you've enabled Nutshell Analytics. This is how Nutshell determines where your leads are coming from so you can report on lead sources. If you haven't set up Nutshell Analytics, click 'Set up tracking' and follow the steps.

Now, head to your Attribution report to dive into the data on your lead sources. Click on "Reports" and then "Attribution." The Attribution report breaks down leads by channel and source, showing you which ones are the most successful at bringing you new business. Change the date range and apply filters to get all the information you need.

Under the Leads tab at the bottom of the attribution report page, you can see every new lead that fits your report. Click on each one to go right to the lead page.

Want to see different lead channels and sources in your report? Go to your company settings, click "Organization," and select "Channels & sources." On the "Channels & sources" page, click the "+Add source" button to set up a new source for Nutshell to track.

You can also add a source to a lead retroactively from the lead page.
