    Navigate to [https://console.command.kw.com/command](https://console.command.kw.com/command)
On the left hand side, click the fourth icon down to navigate to the Smartplans applet.
Once in the Smartplans applet, there are two ways to add Smartplans for you to use. Let's start with the Smartplans Library.
In the Smartplans Library, you will find thousands of Smartplans published by KW, Tech Trainers, and other Agents. You can search or filter the results to find the exact right Smartplan for you!
Once you find a Smartplan you think you might like to use, you can click "View Steps" to see what actions the Smartplan will take.
When you're ready to add the Smartplan and start using it, just click "Add SmartPlan"
Next, we'll look at how to create a custom Smartplan. Click "My SmartPlans" to return to the main Smartplans screen, and then click "Create".
First, you'll need to name your Smartpan
You can create your Smartplan by clicking actions on the right hand side to build out the course of the Smartplan. Let's start by sending an email.
Your emails can be personalized using merge fields, so your emails can include the recipient's name in your greeting!
You can also send a designed email instead of a basic text email. You can create these designed emails in the Designs applet, and then select them for use in your smartplans. Your designed emails can also use merge fields to make them feel just as personal and professional as they look!
When you select a design, you will be given the opportunity to edit, preview, and save the design before continuing to build your Smartplan
In between your actions, click "Set Delay" to add time in between steps.
Next, let's look at sending a text.
You can choose between sending an automated text and creating a text task. Please note - if you choose to send automated text messages, you will also need to connect a Twilio account and pay for those text messages separately.
Just like with emails, you can click "{f.}" to use merge fields in your text messages
For recurring Smartplans (Smartplans you intend to have repeat), you can select "Dynamic" and create multiple versions of your text message so that they don't repeat themselves. This makes them feel less automated to the recipient.
When creating a text task instead of sending an automated text, you can choose a priority level, a due date and time, and include a description. You can even type out the text script you plan to use in the description field for easy use.
Calls in Smartplans are always tasks. Automated dialers or pre-recorded calls are not TCPA compliant, so your Smartplans will create tasks for you to call the contacts. Like with any other tasks, you can adjust priority, due date and time, and description. Just as with the text messages, it could be useful to write your script for the call in the description field.
    Next, let's make a call.
