Lighting Troubleshooting
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for troubleshooting lighting connectivity issues when connecting a visuals computer to a lighting computer. It covers checking the network connection, setting up MIDI communication, configuring ProPresenter and Macros, and ensuring proper functioning of the Lighting computer. Following this guide will help ensure a successful connection between the visuals and lighting systems.

NETWORK: Make sure the computer is on the "NH PRODUCTION" network

Click on the Wifi icon

Select "NH PRODUCTION" - The Wifi logo should light up blue when connected to the network.
MIDI SETUP: Ensure "BOME MIDI NETWORK" is functioning correctly

Click on the "B" icon

Click "Show"

There should be a computer that shows up in this list. If not, make sure the lighting computer is on and connected to the same network.

Make sure "IAC Driver Midi Pipe - iMac" under the "Remote Direct MIDI" section is on.

Make sure "Auto-accept connections without confirmation" is turned on

Click "Back" when you are done. Settings will autosave

You can now close out BOME Midi
PROPRESENTER: Ensure ProPresenter is working properly

Open ProPresenter

Click "ProPresenter" in the menu bar

Go to "Settings"

Select "Devices"

Select "Disconnect" in order to access the settings

Click "Settings"

Ensure "IAC Driver Midi Pipe - iMac" is checked. Click "Back" when done.

Click "Connect" in order to reconnect ProPresenter to the lighting software
