    Log a Work Request

      Navigate to Synbiotix

      Enter your username and password and click "Login"

      Select Helpdesk

      If your site uses the Helpdesk for both soft and hard services, click "Hard FM"

      Change the site using the drop-down box, if required

      Log a Work Request

      Click "New Work Request"

      The "Requested by" field will be pre-populated with your user details. Click on the drop-down box to change this, if required

      Select the location

      Enter any other departmental information

      Write a description of the work required

      Enter the requester name, email and phone number

      Use the drop-down box to select the identified funding route

      Select the funding route

      Enter the budget number

      Enter the budget holder details

      Once you've entered all the required information, click "Save" or press F9

      After saving, a prompt will confirm that the work request has been logged. To return to the Operations Console, click "Back to Operations Console". To stay on this screen and add a new request, click "Add New Request". You'll need to fill out all fields again. Click "Duplicate Request" to replicate the information for a new request. All fields will be pre-filled, and you can make any required changes before you save.
