      Important! If you plan to use Zoom to discuss Protected Health Information or meet with patients, you can request a HIPAA-compliant account. HIPAA accounts have restrictions to ensure HIPAA compliance. To request a HIPAA-compliant account, contact your IT group.

      Open Zoom and click the "Sign In" button

      Click the SSO option (Single Sign-On) This will open your default browser and navigate you to UAB Central Authentication System

      Alert! In the unlikely event that your default browser fails to open, you may encounter the following window.

      Type 'uab' and click the "Continue" button

      Alert! Should your default browser already have recent authentication with the UAB Central Authentication System, certain steps below may be bypassed.

      Sign in with your BlazerID and password

      Complete your preferred authentication method

      Alert! Depending on your system's configuration, you may not need to complete the step outlined below.

      Click the "Open zoom .us.app" button if you receive a pop-up dialogue box This will open Zoom and complete the login process.

      To verify you are using your UAB-licensed account, click on your profile icon in the top right corner of Zoom

      You should see your name and LICENSED. You have now successfully signed into your UAB-licensed Zoom account.
