    Clearing Chrome History, Cookies and Cache

    Click the Chrome pop up button

    Click the Settings ⌘, menu item

    Click Privacy and Security

    Click Clear browsing data

    Click the Time range drop down

    Click All time

    Alert! By default Google Chrome will auto select "Last Hour" for the time range. Change this to "All Time" to completely clear your history, cache and cookies all the way from the last time you cleared.

    Click on the Check boxes for Browsing History, Cookies and Cached Images if they are not already selected.

    Click Clear data

    Alert! Doing these steps will sign you out of your Google Account as well as any other account that you may be currently signed into. Please make sure that you sign back in if prompted.

    Alert! Any permissions that you have previously granted will be reset such as allowing Google Meet to you your camera and microphone.

    Close out any Unused Tabs

    Click the Close button on any tabs that you are not currently utilizing.

    Removing Devices from your Home Network

    Turn off any devices that you are not using that may be connected to your home network. These types of devices include and are not limited to a PS4/PS5, Xbox, Google Home, Alexa, and Ring. These devices can take up your network and may cause a poor connection if multiple devices are utilizing it at the same time.

    Alert! If you have a gaming console connected please make sure it is turned off. Most modern systems have a rest mode feature that will still utilize your network for functions that require a network connection.
