Click "Make a copy" of any storybook template

Click Share button

Click Dropdown arrow

Click "Anyone with the link" or "Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools" depending on how widely you wish to share your work.

Click "Done" You should see an access updated confirmation.

Click inside to get the text box. Type your title. (see end of this tutorial for changing your font size, color, and frame images)

Click inside the bottom text box -replace "author's name" with your own

Click this text field. Rename your file as your teacher instructs.

Click on slide number you wish to edit. This is where you will paste your story

Add image- option 1. To use a photo from the web that you have permission to use, go to the site and Right-click the image you wish to use

Press [[ctrl]] + [[c]]

Right-click here.

Type " [[Backspace]]"to delete the image placeholder

Press Control V or "Paste" the image you copied shows up in your storybook

Drag blue squares to adjust the image to the size you wish for your book

To crop drag the black and resize the black box to frame the piece of the image you wish to use.

Drag the blue frame squares to positon it on the page where you wish. You can even use the tiny blue circle to angle the image.

Continue to add more images if desired/required for your book

Type " [[Backspace]]" to delete any tempate placeholders. You can also add images via web search or upload your own images.
