Making a Resident Inactive in the Dashboard

Accushield has the ability to synchronize data between your Resident health platform and Accushield. When you enter a new resident or update an existing one in your platform, we will automatically update that resident into Accushield within 24 hours. If you have an integration created, we recommend avoiding making manual additions or edits through the Accushield dashboard. For more information, email [integrations@accushield.com](mailto:integrations@accushield.com) If you don't have an integration and need to change the status of a resident, click "Accounts" & choose "Resident" from the dropdown.
Click the name of the resident you want to update.
Click "Edit" on the popup that appears.
The "Status" toggle allows you to change someone from Active to Inactive. Inactive should be used when residents are no longer at your community.
Click "Save" once their status has been updated. Once a resident is "inactive" they will no longer appear in your active resident roster both in the Dashboard and the Kiosk. Guests will no longer be able to search & find their name during sign-in at the Kiosk.
If you want to change multiple residents to "Inactive" at one time, you can check the box next to every residents name, click "Assign" and then click "Inactive"
Click "Apply" and this will change every chosen resident's Status to be Inactive.
If you want to view a list of your "Inactive" residents, you can click "Filter," choose "Inactive" and hit "Apply"
