      Navigate to Synbiotix

      Enter your username and password and click "Login"

      Select Helpdesk

      Click "Administration"

      Click "Locations"

      Select the required hospital from the drop-down box

      Filter by location type to refine the list

      The system will hide archived locations by default. Change the "Include Archived" toggle to "YES" to view archived locations

      Click "Go" to apply any filters

      Add a Location to the Helpdesk

      Click "Add New"

      Select the location type

      Click to open the location tree

      Select the required location(s) using the tick boxes

      The location tree will only open to the location type level selected in Step 11

      Select the zone that the location(s) sit in

      The Synbiotix Helpdesk uses zoning information to allocate resources efficiently (when task auto-allocation is enabled). It aims to assign tasks to the nearest available resource. Each location is associated with a specific zone to facilitate this process

      Select the Access Configuration. For most locations, this will be "All Sources".\ \ If you select "Operations Console Only", this location will only be visible via the online Helpdesk and won't be accessible via the Services Hub.\ \ If you select "Service Hub Only", this location will only be visible via the Services Hub and won't be accessible via the online Helpdesk
