Managing Categories via Advanced Import

Parent and Child Categories that are set up in the Admin are reflected in the Metadata when downloaded.

CATEGORY columns can be updated with existing categories or removed entirely within the Metadata file

Save file in one of the below formats

To update changes on the admin, the file will need to be re-uploaded via Import > Advanced Import

Click Upload

Select updated file and Validate

Click done

The file will run through the validation process

Once complete it will appear [[Valid ]]or [[Invalid]]

If Valid select file and Import

Follow prompt to confirm Import

If the file is invalid, click through the errors to identify the issue

You will need to review the error messages and update the file with the required changes before reuploading the file.
