Manually Assign or Remove a Resource from a HardFM Job
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to manually assign or remove a resource from a HardFM job in the Synbiotix Helpdesk

Navigate to Synbiotix

Enter your username and password and click "Login"

Select Helpdesk

If your site uses the Helpdesk for both soft and hard services, click "Hard FM"
Assign a Resource to a Job

To assign a resource, click "edit" in the **Task #** column

Click "Find Resource"

Use the tick box to select the required resource. The resource at the top of the list has been idle (off-task) the longest.

The selected resource will be highlighted in green. Click "Assign"

The job will be sent to the selected resource and their name will appear alongside the job on the Operations Console
Remove a Resource from a Job

To remove a resource from a job, click "edit" in the **Task #** column

Click "X" to remove the resource from the job

You need to give a reason for removing the resource from the job

Select a reason

Click "Remove"
