Starting the Telehealth Call

Click the box under "What is your full name? \*" to enter your name.

The "Are you the patient?" section will default to "Yes, I am the patient". If you are not the patient, select the other options.

Check the box next to the "athenaTelehealth Terms of Use and Informed Patient Consent" to indicate you agree with them.

Click the "Join Audio by Computer" button.

If you get a permissions pop-up, select "Allow while visiting the site".

On the next screen, there will be large video screen for the provider and smaller video screen at the top for you.

In the bottom left corner of screen, you can unmute your microphone and start video when the provider joins.
Features of the new Telehealth Experience

Click the "Chat" icon if you would need to chat with your provider. **The chat functionality is only available if the provider has joined the call.**

Select "Share Screen" if you need to share an item on screen with your Provider.

Click the "Reactions" icon to select reactions and raise hand.

Select the "More" icon to access Captions, Settings, and other features.
Settings Menu

Review the Settings menu to make updates to general, video, audio, and background settings.

To update Audio Settings, click Audio to review and test the microphone and speaker settings.

To update the Background settings, click Background. You choose to Blur your background or utilize the available background images.
