      This lesson covers OpenManage Enterprise management of the credentials used to communicate & command the managed servers iDRACs. After the initial discovered OpenManage Enterprise can creates a unique OpenManage Enterprise service account using a specific user account & strong password on each iDRAC. A password rotation action can be added for additional security & to conform with customers broader password rotation policy. Finally OpenManage Enterprise also supports CyberArk password vaulting integration if required.

      Click **"Application Settings"**.

      Click **"Console Preferences"**.

      Click **"iDRAC Password Management"**.

      Select **"Enable"** checkbox.

      OpenManage displays credentials type in use by each servers iDRAC.

      Click **"Devices"**.

      When interrogating the list of discovered server filter can be enabled to display servers with selected attributers. Click **">"** next to Advance Filters to expand list.

      The credential type can be one of these three : *Discovery* meaning the credentials used to discover server initially will be used ; *Internal* means the credential are being supplied by & managed by OpenManage Enterprise; *CyberArk* meaning the credentials are being managed by an external password vault supplied by CyberArk. Select **Internal** on the **"Credential Type"**.
